Description

The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), Office of Acquisition and Relocation Management (FA) intends to establish a Purchase Order (PO) on a sole source bases with BRUKER SCIENTIFIC INC. at 40 Manning Rd, Billerica, MA 01821-3931. BRUKER SCIENTIFIC INC is the only company that can provide the specialized need of equipment for the ionization of solids, liquids, and gases for the application of drug analysis required by DEA.

This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations. In accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 5.102(a) (6), the Justification for Sole Source will be posted 14 days after the award. The acquisition will be conducted through FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures.

As this is not a request for competitive quotes, the government encourages all interested parties who believe they can meet the requirements to submit in written response describing their ability to provide the product/services listed above to Donita Hood at Donita.L.Hood@dea.gov by Tuesday, May 2, 2023 1:00 pm EST, and reference number D-23-SS-0070. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract acquisition based upon responses to the notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.

This notice does not obligate the Government to award a contract or otherwise pay for the information provided in response. The Government reserves the right to use information provided by respondents for any purpose deemed necessary and legally appropriate. Respondents are advised that the Government is under no obligation to acknowledge receipt of the information received or provide feedback to respondents with respect to any information submitted.
