Description
The Department of the Navy, Naval Information Warfare Center Pacific (NIWC Pacific)
hereby publicizes its intention to solicit, negotiate, and award a Commercial Firm-Fixed-
Price purchase order on a noncompetitive basis with Trenton Systems under FAR
13.106-1(b). The requirement is for the purchase of the following:
ITEM 0001:
TRC1002
Manufacturer: Trenton Systems
QTY: 2
ITEM 0002:
TRC2010
Manufacturer: Trenton Systems
Qty: 2
The TRC1002 and TRC 2010 will be used to replace the current servers that are going
end of life and are to be used to provide backward capability for the Sea Commander
configuration. This is required to further the CGSAIL program. Trenton Systems is the
vendor responsible for manufacture and repairs of the servers listed above.
A determination by the government not to compete based upon responses to this notice
is solely at the discretion of the government. However, all responsible sources may
submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency.
Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to
conduct a competitive procurement. The applicable NAICS Code is 334111 and the
business size standard is 1250 (in employees).
Interested offerors must be properly registered in the System for Award Management
(SAM). Offerors may obtain information on SAM registration and annual confirmation
requirements by calling 1-866-606-8220 or via the internet at https://www.sam.gov.
This solicitation is being issued pursuant to the procedures at FAR 13. Synopsis exception
FAR 5.202(a)(13) applies.
All changes to the requirement that occur prior to the closing date will be posted to
Contract Opportunities on https://sam.gov/. It is the responsibility of interested vendors
to monitor https://sam.gov/ for any amendments, which may be issued to this
solicitation.
Be advised that the aforementioned information is anticipatory in nature and is not
binding. Any comments, questions or concerns regarding this notice may be submitted
