Space Requirements:
Access to the coastal fishing industry is critical to the National Marine Fisheries Service’s (NMFS) mission. Proximity to the interstate away from the central business area with better access to coastal state routes is required in facilitating the NMFS’s mission. Many of NOAA’s stakeholders, owners/operators and captains work and reside along the coast and outside of the central business area. This office covers a fairly large geographical area. This includes North to Brunswick, GA and South to Titusville, FL. Therefore, a location south and east of Jacksonville, FL better serves the mission of the NMFS.
NOAA has a requirement in Jacksonville, Florida. Jacksonville, Florida is well positioned along the east coast to support this law enforcement mission.
Offered space must meet Government requirements for fire safety, accessibility, seismic, and sustainability standards per the terms of the Lease. A fully serviced lease is required, inclusive of all costs for overtime utilities. Offered space shall not be in the 100/500 year flood plain.
Entities are advised to familiarize themselves with the telecommunications prohibitions outlined under Section 889 of the FY19 National Defense
Authorization Act (NDAA), as implemented by the Federal Acquisition
