1. PURPOSE OF THIS ANNOUNCEMENT:

This is a solicitation announcement for design and construction services as described within the announcement on www.sam.gov (SAM). 2. INFORMATION ABOUT THE PROJECT:

The Request for Proposal (RFP) provides parameters for a design-build project for renovation of Koknese Region Nursing Home, Latvia; Latitude 56°47'34.69"N, Longitude 25°35'36.86"E (Refer to the attached Location Map.)

The project includes the following general items of work, detailed requirements are

contained elsewhere in this Statement of Work:

a. Provide elevator access road for emergency vehicles.

b. Provide new walkway to egress stairs.

c. Renovate existing nursing home building.

d. Construct new elevator tower and elevator.

e. Replace existing exterior egress stairs.

f. Provide a new fire alarm system.

3. PROJECT LOCATION:

See Project Location Map, provided as a solicitation attachment. This project is located in Latvia; Latitude 56°47'34.69"N, Longitude 25°35'36.86"E (Refer to the attached Location Map.)

4. PRE-PROPOSAL SITE VISIT:

Pre-Proposal Site Visit. The Government held a site a pre-proposal site visit on 23 April 2024 at 11h00 Local.

5. HOW TO RESPOND TO THIS ANNOUNCEMENT:

Proposals must be prepared and submitted according to the instructions within the contract solicitation (plus amendments). Full instructions on how to submit a proposal are within the contract solicitation (plus amendments). Please follow the instructions carefully. Please be sure to submit your proposal no later than the time and date specified in the solicitation (plus amendments). Interested offerors must submit a non-price proposal for evaluation in addition to a price proposal to be considered for contract award.
