6515--Intent to Sole Source Endoscope Sterilizing Reprocessor Sys

This is an Intent to Sole Source, this is not a solicitation for proposals, proposal abstracts, or quotations. The purpose of this notice is to provide information based on this requirement. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contacting Office 8, Regional Procurement Office East, on behalf of the West Palm Beach VA Medical Center located at 7305 North Military Trail, Palm Beach Gardens, FL 33410-6400, intends to award a Firm Fixed Price sole source award to ADVANCED STERILIZATION PRODUCTS SERVICES, INC. located at 33 TECHNOLOGY DR, IRVINE CA 92618, in support of the West Palm Beach VAMC Sterile Processing Service. The proposed contract is for five EVOTECH Cleaning and Reprocessing Systems and associated consumables. This sole source award to ADVANCED STERILIZATION PRODUCTS SERVICES, INC. is in accordance with 41 U.S.C. 1901 as implemented by way of the procedures in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) subpart 8.405-6. This Sole Source is authorized under FAR subpart FAR 8.405-6(a)(1)(i)(B), soliciting from only one source that is capable of providing the supplies or services required at the level of quality required because the supplies or services are unique or highly specialized. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals, quotes, or capability statements. No solicitation will be posted as a result of this notice. This notice complies with FAR 5.101. This Special Notice is being issued for information purpose only. All information shall be in writing, sent via email. Responses must be received no later than 12:00 PM EST, July 11, 2022.
