Description

Amendment 2 Extends due date and Revises the RFQ.

Amendment 1 Extends due date for offers.

The USDA Forest Service, Santa Fe National Forest, Cuba, Espanola, and Jemez Ranger Districts have a requirement for electrical upgrades to Radio Sites, Sandoval & Santa Fe Counties, New Mexico.

Project consists of Electrical upgrades for Temporary Stand-by Generators to be interconnected at the following three (3) Radio Sites:  Cerro Pelado Radio Site, Eureka Radio Site, and Tesuque Radio Site.  The Electric Utility Company that provides permanent electricity to these sites has distribution problems and the sites experience Electrical outages throughout the year. All three (3) Radio Sites have existing Battery Back-up Systems that provide stored power to the Radio Sites.

It is anticipated that Notice-To-Proceed will be issued immediately after award.  Payment and performance bonds will be required within 10 days after award.

 Magnitude of project:  Between $25,000 and $100,000.  This is a 100% Small Business Set Aside to NAICS code 238210 $16.5 Million is the maximum size standard to qualify as small business.  PSC code Z2BG.    Award will be based on Best Value - Tradeoffs.  The Government anticipates awarding a Firm Fixed-Price contract.
