Description

Amendment 00005: to update Section L to extend the Solicitation Due Date to 31 January 2024, and to add Questions and Answers to Section C of the Solicitation. No other changes made. Solicitation N4523A23R5700 has had 5 Amendments - Amendment 0001: Released 09/06/2023, Amendment 0002: Released 11/17/2023, and Amendment 0003: Released 11/28/2023, Amendment 0004: Released 12/20/2023, Amendment 0005: Released 01/03/2024. Northwest Regional Maintenance Center at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PSNS and IMF) intends to award a stand alone Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) contract to accomplish maintenance, repair and preservation for Bangor dry-dock 1 spare caisson, aka Caisson 2. The contractor facility must be capable of dry-docking this caisson and located in the Puget Sound, WA region - defined as the west coast of the continental U.S., starting from Olympia, WA and extending northward to Bellingham, WA. Vessel Characteristics: Length: 108 FT Width: 18 FT Height: 65 FT Draft: 34 FT Light displacement: 1371 L Tons Hull Type: Steel. Details can be found in the statement of work (attachment J-1). All offerors must be registered with the System for Award Management (SAM) to be awarded a federal government contract. Geographical Area of consideration: The facility shall be located in Puget Sound, WA region as defined as the West Cost of the continental US, Starting from Olympia, WA and extending northward to Bellingham, WA. Desired and Required Delivery Dates are in Clause 52.211-9 (this Clause requests offerors propose production start and delivery dates). All offerors must be registered with the System for Award Management (SAM) to receive award of Government contracts. Offerors are advised also that SAM representations and certifications can be completed electronically via the System for Award Management website at https://www.sam.gov.
