Description
The Federal Aviation Administration’s (FAA) Energy & Fuels Branch, (ANG-E283), has a requirement for a Vibration Table System that can perform Operational Shock testing per RTCA DO 160 Section 7 and Vibration testing as per RTCA DO 160 Section 8, as well as MIL-STD-202 Method 201A and Method 204D. This Vibration Table System is to perform test and evaluation of electric propulsion units for use in aerospace applications. The FAA requires the capability to perform operational shock and vibration testing in combination with the electric propulsion unit under load on an existing dynamometer in accordance with the attached Statement of Work (SOW).
The FAA will not pay for any information received or costs incurred for preparing responses to this announcement. Therefore, any costs associated with a response to the RFQ are solely at the interested vendor’s expense.
This procurement is being set-aside exclusively for competition among small business concerns. It is anticipated that the Government will award one firm fixed-price purchase order to the lowest price responsible responsive offeror for the full quantities listed in the RFO, that meet the required specifications, quantities, and Government delivery schedule as referenced in the attached SOW.
Along with the quotation, the off error must complete the representation 3.6.4-22 Representation Regarding Certain Telecommunications and Video Surveillance Services or Equipment or 3.6.4-24 Covered Telecommunications Equipment or Services- Representation and include the completed representation in their response. NOTE: The offeror is not required to complete the representation in 3.6.4-22 if the off eror represented that it does not provide covered telecommunications equipment or services as part of its offered products or services to the Government in the performance of any contract, subcontract, or other contractual instrument in provision 3.6.4-24 Covered Telecommunications Equipment or Services – Representation.
The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 334516 for Analytical Laboratory Instrument Manufacturing with a small business size standard of 1,000. All potential vendors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) website (www.SAM.gov) for consideration of this award.
Please provide the Unique Entity ID (UEI) number & Federal TAX ID number associated with your SAM registration. This information will be used by the Contracting Officer to verify that the offeror is registered in the SAM database.
OFFERS ARE DUE NO LATER THAN FRIDAY, JULY 15, 2022. OFFERS RECEIVED AFTER THAT DATE WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED. Offers must provide statement that their firm can meet all requirements outlined in the attached Specifications.
