Description

The Government requires Protective Coating (PC) services at Scott Air Force Base (AFB), Illinois. 

The required services consists of furnishing all labor, materials, vehicles, equipment, tools, supervision,
and administration required to perform protective coating maintenance as described in the Statement of
Work (SOW) (except Government-Furnished materials) for the execution of painting and application of
protective coatings; pavement markings applicable to existing roads, existing parking lots at Scott AFB, IL.
In accordance with (IAW) the SOW, the tasks are general building and pavement coatings. The
requirements are not military unique. However, since the Government will be altering real property (i.e.,
buildings and roads), the required services are noncommercial and will use Simplified Acquisition
Procedures (BPAs) to satisfy this requirement. The prices charged by the contractor to the United States
Government shall be as low as those charged to the supplier's most favored customer for comparable
quantities under similar terms and conditions.
There are several regulations and industry standards that must be adhered too. Hazardous waste disposal
must be completed IAW local, state, and federal standards. Disposals must also be coordinated with 375th
CES (Environmental). Finally, all work shall be completed IAW OSHA 29 CFR 1910, OSHA 29 CFR 1926,
and applicable AFOSH Standards.
