Description

The purpose of this Combined Synopsis/Solicitation is for BILGES AND CLEANING SERVICES onboard the USCG Margaret Norvell. The requirements in accordance with the Scope of Work (SOW), the contractor shall provide all labor, materials, and equipment to perform the bilge cleaning. The contractor shall furnish trained, qualified personnel and any required special tools. Contractor shall protect all equipment in work locations.

The completion of the bilge cleaning requirements are listed in the SOW. All additional costs associated with the services not included in the original quote shall be provided in writing prior to the start of the work for approval. Upon acceptance the Contractor shall commence work as per scheduled, the facility shall remain in operation throughout the service

Prior to submitting a quote, it is mandatory to examine the complete scope of work and highly recommended to visit the unit to verify conditions and measurements. After the award of contract, a pre-conference will be held prior to starting the project at US Coast Guard Base Miami Beach. The required Period of Performance (POP) is January 3rd 2023 through February 3rd , 2023 due to the availability of the cutter.

The U. S. Government will not provide reimbursement for any information that may be submitted in response to this solicitation. Respondents are solely responsible for all expenses associated with responding to this solicitation. The United States Coast Guard Contracting Office will evaluate all quotes and intends to satisfy this requirement through a formal acquisition process. All quotes must be received before the solicitation close. Please see the attached SOW and related documents for the specifics of the requirements.

SITE VISIT: All bidders are strongly encouraged to visit the site before submitting bids. The Government will award the contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation and most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. The award is based on Best Value.
