Description
The requirement is for Workers Compensation Insurance at the American Embassy in Canberra Australia.
The anticipated performance period is for a base year with one option year period, if exercised by the Government.
All responsible sources may submit a quotation which will be considered, however as per the Workers Compensation ACT 1951 potential bidders must be an approved insurer and granted authority by the ACT Minister (Head of the ACT Government) in accordance with the regulations to preform Workers Compensation Insurance.
Only those bidders whom are granted permission and approved by the ACT Minister will be considered.

The Government intends to award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the lowest priced technically acceptable offeror who is a responsible contractor. The Government may award the contract based on the initial offer without discussion. The resultant contract will be a firm fixed price type contract.
All contractors are required to be registered in the SAM (System for Award Management) Database https://www.sam.gov prior to submitting an offer pursuant to FAR provision 52.204. Therefore, prospective offerors must register in SAM prior to the submittal of quotations/proposals.
