S201--FY22: Carpet Cleaning Contract Tiered Evaluation

Presolicitation Notice Presolicitation Notice Page 3 of 3 Presolicitation Notice *=Required Field Presolicitation Notice Page 1 of 3 Network Contracting Office 8 (NCO 8) intends to solicit for Commercial Carpet Cleaning Service at 3 locations within the Orlando VA Healthcare System (OVAHCS). The anticipated period of performance will be 03/01/2022 12/31/2022, with 4 additional Option Periods of 01/01 12/31 of each subsequent year. The total aggregate area of the carpet to be cleaned is approximately 500,000 sq ft. Based on the responses received from sources sought notice number 36C2482Q0177, the Request for Quotation will be issued as Tiered Evaluation for SDVOSB concerns, or in the alternative, a tiered evaluation for VOSB concerns, or in the alternative, a set-aside for other small business concerns with HUBZone small business concerns and 8(a) participants having priority. If award cannot be made, the solicitation will be cancelled and the requirement resolicited. The Government is anticipating a Firm Fixed Price contract from the solicitation that will be issued electronically to SAM.gov, the official U.S. Government System for contract opportunities. The anticipated date of solicitation will be on or about January 25th, 2022. Contractors must register their entity at SAM.gov prior to contract award, during performance period and must continue to remain registered through the final invoice payment. The Small Business Administration (SBA) size standard for the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) 561740 is $6.0 Million.
