This udpate issues Amendment W912P623B0005-0001_CSSC_Paving_Fencing_20230808.  See attached file.

Additionally, the previously provided Project Information (below) is replaced with the following:

PROJECT INFORMATION: The Fish Barrier is in Romeoville, IL.  The work will involve paving work at the Fish Barrier location. The existing road is currently gravel. The proposed plan for paving for this project includes removing and disposing of the existing gravel and paving the East roadway with fiberglass-reinforced concrete.  This contract will also include the removal and relocation of the designated existing fencing, and installation of new nonconductive fencing at various designated areas around the perimeter of the Fish Barrier.

The response date is NOT extended.  All other terms and conditions remain the same.

Under this Solicitation Notice, the United States Army Corps of Engineers - Chicago District issues Solicitation No. W912P623B0005 for bidding purposes. Therefore, provided hereunder is the relevant bid package for the construction project entitled, "Chicago Sanitary Ship Canal (CSSC) Fish Barrier Roadway Paving And Fencing Project, 790 East Old Romeo RD., Romeoville, Cook County, Illinois"

ACQUISITION INFORMATION: Competition for this acquisition is RESERVED EXCLUSIVELY for Small Business Concerns.

The North American Industry System Classification Code is 237310, with a small business size standard in dollars of $45.0 Million. The magnitude of cost for construction is estimated between $10,000,000.00 and $25,000,000.00.

The Solicitation (Invitation for Bids – “IFB”) is downloadable from the INTERNET ONLY. The project specification files are Portable Document Format (PDF) files and can be viewed, navigated, or printed using Adobe Acrobat Reader. Responses to this Solicitation (Invitation for Bids) are due by 2:00 p.m. (Central Time) on September 7, 2023.
