Harrier Fly Away Kit Services

NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE

The Government intends to issue a sole source, firm fixed price purchase order with USTronics, Inc, 21351 Gentry Dr, Suite 115, Sterling, VA 20166, under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b). The government will acquire the services using the Simplified Acquisition Procedures set forth in FAR Part 13. The North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) code for this requirement is 517410. The purpose of this requirement is to procure satellite connected commercial internet service with the following capabilities: Two networks (Intelsat, SES), 20 x 5 Mbps MIR. Burstable data rates up to 20Mbps x 5Mbps, 10 calendar days of access per month for the Harrier Fly Away Kit P/N 1085IP-8W  Must also include 5 usable public IP addresses, on-demand user selectable access to 2 different satellites separated by 36 degrees, and access to user web based portal to manage and monitor usage as well as setup email alerting, statistics and location mapping. Service will include support for 5 enhanced RedPhones with Direct Inward Dialing capabilities (DID). Calls to enhanced RedPhones will need to be able to be local / long distance / kit to kit, and numbers should be dedicated and not changing This notice is not a formal solicitation. This is not considered a Request for Quotation (RFQ). No solicitation document is available and telephone requests will not be honored. No purchase order will be awarded on the basis of quotation or offers received in response to this notice. Any response to this notice must show clear, compelling, and convincing evidence that competition will be advantageous to the Government. If no affirmative written response is received, the purchase order will be awarded without further notice. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government.
