FTW428A - CRREL Permafrost Tunnel Operations Facility

SOURCE SOUGHT: THIS NOTICE IS MARKET RESEARCH TO SUPPORT INCLUSION OF A SOLE SOURCE (BRAND NAME) SPECIFICATIN IN FY24 CONSTRUCTION PROJECT – FTW428 A CRREL  Permafrost Tunnel Operations Facility, Fort Wainwright, Alaska – AND IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. The U.S. Army Engineer District, Alaska intends to specify the below listed items as part of a larger construction contract to be executed on Fort Wainwright, Alaska. A determination by the Government to not compete this requirement, for the specific items listed below, based on the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Reference FAR 6.302-1(c), “Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements – Application for brand name descriptions”.

Item:

1. Lifewater Model SST1200 (below ground model) Sewage Treatment Plant, NAICS 333310. The Lifewater Model SST1200 (below ground model) Sewage Treatment Plant is a sewage treatment plant system designed to support remote facilities with an average of 16 permeant or 40 shift occupants.

THIS NOTICE IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE AND NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. No solicitation will be available as these sole source items will be incorporated into the specifications of an FY24 solicitation for FTW428A CRREL Permafrost Operations Facility on Fort Wainwright, Alaska.

Vendors who offer the above items which can meet all the above functional criteria are invited to respond to this notice. Responses must include the following information:

1. Identification of the manufacturer’s names, address, and country of product manufacture.
2. Fully detailed specification sheets.
3. Narrative addressing how your product meets the salient features listed above.
