Description

608-23-101 HVAC UNIT REPLACEMENT VAMC, NH Procurement Number: 36C24123B0005 This is a pre-solicitation notice synopsizing an upcoming competitive solicitation satisfying the requirements of FAR 5.201 and FAR 5.203. An invitation for bids will be posted on or about May 24, 2023. Manchester VA Medical Center has several HVAC items that are past their serviceable life. This project will address the demo and removal of existing equipment and the reinstallation of like equipment, with the intent being to perform one-for-one replacements of the below-listed HVAC equipment (i.e., replace with units of identical specs) and therefore perform as few alterations as possible to piping, ducting, wiring, etc. This project will also install new or remove and replace existing mini split units. The units should be properly sized for the rooms and be of the same brand as existing units. Additionally, this project will install up to 60 feet of TPA rooftop walkway mats to improve access to servicing rooftop units. The work includes but is not limited to: provide all equipment, layout, material, testing, tools, labor, rigging, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing work as well as all safety requirements to perform work to fulfill the contractual obligations. The magnitude of this project is between $500,000.00 and $1,000,000.00. The NAICS code for this procurement is 238220 and the size standard is $19 Million. The solicitation is being issued as an Invitation for Bids (IFB) under FAR Part 14. A bid bond is required, and the bid guarantee amount shall be at least 20 percent of the bid price but shall not exceed $3 million. This project is 100% set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses.
