Laundry Services for Northwest Area Incident Support Cache

This is a Pre-solicitation Notice announcement ONLY.  This Pre-solicitation Notice is being posted to the Government-wide Point of Entry (GPE) website (https://sam.gov) in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 5.204, Pre-solicitation notices. This pre-solicitation notice is prepared in accordance with FAR 5.207(a).

The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Forest Service, Property and Procurement Services (PPS), Incident Procurement Operations (IPO) intends to issue a Request for Quotation (RFQ) in support of the Northwest Area Incident Support Cache (NWK) located at Redmond Air Center (RAC). Subject to the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Products and Commercial Services, and the Simplified Acquisition Procedures set forth in FAR Part 13. The Resultant contract, if any, will be a Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP), Stand-Alone Services Contract (Base Plus Four (4) Option Years).

5. The Government anticipates issuing this solicitation as a 100% SMALL BUSINESS set aside.
6. Tentative Date for issuing pending solicitation is October 5, 2023. All solicitation documents for this procurement will be provided free of charge through the GPE website.

   1. Sleeping bags
   2. Nomex (jeans and shirts)
   3. Synthetic garden hose
   4. Fly tent/sunshade
   5. Packsacks/carry cases

11. Period of Performance: The Base Period will begin January 1, 2024, and be a 12 month performance period with four Option Year periods. Each successive Option Year period (if exercised) is anticipated to be a 12-month performance period and will begin immediately upon expiration of the previous performance period.
