Description
NCIS has a requirement for non-lethal goose hazard management within the perimeter fence of the Russell-Knox Building. The management techniques to be performed by the contractor and addressed in the protocol are to use Trained Border collies, suggestive changes in and around the pond area (if applicable), and other methods used to help stabilize the Canada goose population at the proposed location. Other suggested techniques shall include, but are not limited to, ground maintenance (e.g. mowing height; maintenance of storm water conveyances, exclusion fencing) all to be performed at the proposed location. Contractor shall develop the protocol to accommodate the proposed location’s requirement for response to observed and reported Canada Goose Hazards.
The customer has requested a Base plus four Option Years. The Period of Performance shall begin on November 1, 2022.
