Specialized Foreign Truck Chassis

Eglin Air Force Base (AFB), near Fort Walton Beach, FL, is conducting a commercial solutions opening (CSO) Call, under the Finding Agile Solutions for Test (FAST) CSO FA9302-21-S-C001, authorized by section 879 of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year (FY) 2017 (Pub. L. 114-328).  Under a CSO, the Air Force Test Center may competitively award proposals received in response to a general solicitation, similar to a broad agency announcement, to acquire innovative commercial items, technologies, and services, based on a review of proposals by scientific, technological, or other subject-matter expert peers within the Air Force Test Center.  The overarching Commercial Solutions Opening (CSO) FA9302-21-S-C001 is provided in the link below for your reference.

Under this CSO solicitation FA2487-22-S-C041 Call 005, all items, technologies, and services shall be treated as commercial items. The Air Force Test Center intends to obtain "innovative" solutions or potential new capabilities that fulfill requirements, close capability gaps, or provide potential technology advancements. Solutions may include existing technologies or procedures, not currently in use by the Air Force Test Center, that would enhance or streamline Air Force Test Center mission capabilities. "Innovative" is defined as any technology, process or method that is new as of the date of submission of a proposal.  It also includes any new application of an existing technology, process, or method. 

This CSO contains three broadly defined areas of interest.  A complete copy of the solicitation is available; however, offerors shall e-mail a copy of their DD2345 to the Contracting Officer and Government Program Manager if interested in obtaining a copy of the complete solicitation.  The form, instructions, and FAQs may be found at the United States/Canada Joint Certification Program website, https://www.dla.mil/Logistics-Operations/Services/JCP/.
