Description
Upon reivew, the NAICS for the forthcoming Solicititation will be changed as now listed on this Pre-solicitation. The previous NAICS is generally used on a subcontract basis.

The is a Pre-Solicitation Notice. No Offers are requested at this time. A Solicitation for this project, with the same number 1240LT24R0039, will be posted on Sam.gov Contracting Opportunities on or after April 26, 2024.
Project Description
i. Mobilization.
ii. Quality control, survey, and staking.
iii. Remove, replace, relocate, and upgrade of copper and fiber optic cabling and associated equipment, devices, and appurtenances associated with communication systems; relocation of communication equipment to new telecommunication room; remove and reinstall ceiling tiles to permit telecom installation; remove and install new electrical panel and associated conductors and conduit; remove overhead masts and patch roof; trenching, backfilling, and aggregate base course replacement; installation of underground conduit and associated conductors and innerducts for underground power and telecommunication service; demolition of existing telecommunication room and installation of new walls, gypsum board, and painting; .
iv. Coordination with telecommunication and electric providers for removal of overhead services and connection of new underground service.
v. Construction includes furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, supplies, storage, other incidentals and all work required to complete the proposed addition, remodel and associated items in accordance with the approved final drawings, specifications and provisions of the contract.
vi. Construction quality control includes supplying all the personnel, equipment, tests and reports necessary to ensure that construction is completed in compliance with the drawings, specifications and provisions of the contract. Materials testing and inspection agency shall be a separate entity from the Contractor.

viii. Due to the historic nature of the existing buildings no new or enlarged penetrations will be allowed. Any new utility work will go underground/underfloor, through the attic, or utilize existing exterior penetrations.
PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE
Performance is expected to begin in early June, 2024. Construction must be completed by April 30, 2025.
PROJECT LOCATION
The project is located at the Monument Fire Center on the Pike National Forest, Pikes Peak Ranger District in El Paso County, Colorado, approximately 3 miles west of Monument, Colorado.
