Description

The Medical Field System (MFS) Program Management Office (PMO) within the U.S. Army Medical Materiel Development Activity (USAMMDA) requires three (3) different makes/model of the Microscope Optical Binoculars, 2 each, for a total of six (6) for first article testing. Therefore, the government anticipates award of three (3) separate contracts/awards and/or one contract/award or a combination thereof, for a total of six (6) microscopes. The microscope is used for blood and bodily fluid analysis, manual urinalysis crystals and sediments identification, and microscopic identification of pathogens and microorganisms. The government?s intent is to procure a total of six (6) to carry out environmental and operational testing. The purpose of this testing is to evaluate each device?s ability to function successfully in austere environment. *Note: This is an RFQ, however the SF1449 includes an R in the solicitation number.
