Description

One Inductively Coupled Plasma Optical Emission Spectrophotometer (ICP-OES).  The ICP-OES analyzes heavy metal samples collected by the Navy industrial hygienists in industrial workplaces used to evaluate, quantify and protect worker exposure to toxic heavy metals.

The system needs to be able to analyze for multiple metals on different sampling matrices, in an efficient manner.  It must not only be able to analyze quickly, and precisely, but it also must have sensitivity in the nanograms.

See Salient Characteristics listed in the RFQ for further details.
