648-24-103 Replace Sewer Riser

Portland VAMC seeks a contractor to provide all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, and all other resources necessary to perform services required for the following work:

1. Coordination and development of effective sewer drain bypass to allow work to be completed on existing 6” sewer drain. Core drilling is permittable.
2. The demolition and removal of existing 6” Sewer Drain and Y-fittings from the second floor through the fifth floor and existing 4” drain line located on the basement level of the facility (B2 ceiling space).
3. Furnishing and Installation of 6” Sewer Drain and Y-fittings from the second floor through the fifth floor and 4” corrosion resistant cast iron drain line and Y-fittings located on the basement level (B2 ceiling space).
4. Add bracing to newly installed pipe to provide support for axial and lateral deflection or movement.
5. Perform appropriate testing to verify acceptable standard of work.
