Description

The BLM at the National Interagency Fire Center in Boise, Idaho has a requirement for calibration and testing of various pieces of test equipment to ensure compliance of all RAWS Weather sensors requiring preventive maintenance. All equipment is tested annually to maintain the accuracy of sensors used on RAWs Weather stations.
The calibration must be completed in accordance with MIL-STD-45662A, ISO 10012-1, ISO 9001, & ANSI/NCSL Z540-1 on a Pass/Fail basis. The work must also include Certificate of Calibration, Test Accuracy Ratios, Comments on findings if found out of tolerance, and Recommended Due Date.
The work must be completed in several batches, approximately 20-30 pieces at a time to allow RAWS technicians to maintain daily operations. To ensure the equipment is rotated out in a timely manner, the vendor must be within a 25-mile radius of Boise, ID. RAWS will drop-off and pick up the equipment. All equipment should be calibrated within a 2-month time frame. Attached is a list of equipment to be calibrated.
