Description

This is a solicitation for a commercial supply in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotes are being requested, solicitation W912DW24Q0033 is attached.

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers requires One (1) Standby Emergency Diesel Generator to be delivered to Chief Joseph Dam Bridgeport, Washington. The generator is to be fully enclosed for sound and weather, with integral fuel tank base, integrated load bank and mounted on a step deck trailer.  The emergency generator must meet Tier 4- Environmental Protection Agency emission standards.

In accordance with 13 CFR 121.406, this contracting action is subject to the requirements of the nonmanufacturer rule. The emergency generator must be manufactured by a small business. No waiver of the nonmanufacturer rule was granted. Please see FAR Clause 52.219-33- Nonmanufacturer Rule.

The nonmanufacturer rule states to qualify as a small business concern for this small business set-aside supply contract, the small business must either:

Manufacture the product itself
Supply a product manufactured by another small business if it is a nonmanufacturer
Supply the product of any sized manufacturer if SBA has granted a waiver to the nonmanufacturer rule.

All offerors shall be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM), if you are not registered in (SAM) or have an ACTIVE status, an award SHALL not be made to your company. You may register electronically at http://www.sam.gov.

This action is for a firm fixed price contract to provide commercial supply for USACE, Seattle District / Chief Joseph Dam Bridgeport, Washington.

*** The due date for the receipt of proposals is extended to 6 August 2024 at 10:00 AM Pacific Time. Please see the attached Amendment W912DW24Q0033R0001. Offerors must acknowledge receipt of this amendment by number and date on offer.
