Description of the service:  This is a non-personal service(s) contract to provide Hazardous Waste, Hazardous Materials Management Support at Darby Military Community (DMC). The Contractor shall provide non-personal service(s). Acting as an independent consultant and not as an agent of the US Government, the Contractor shall provide specialized services to accomplish the tasks listed in this Performance Work Statement (PWS). To accomplish the purpose and objectives of this PWS and complete the work identified in the tasks, the Contractor shall also work and coordinate closely with the Contracting Officer Representative (COR) and execute tasks in accordance with final priorities/timelines as established by the Environmental Division (ED) Chief. The final approval authority for all deliverables under this contract is the Contracting Officer (KO). The Contractor shall not deviate from any task or deliverable without the consent of the KO. The Performance Work Statement (PWS) contains the requirements needed to support the environmental engineering and compliance program for the Directorate of Public Works (DPW) Environmental Division (ED) at United States Army Garrison (USAG) Italy Darby Military Community (DMC), Italy. The PWS describes the tasks to be accomplished under this project. The environmental media typically managed by the Garrison includes but is not limited to the following:  1) Management & Operation at TWSA (Temporary Waste Storage Area) and at HWASs (Hazardous Waste Accumulation Points), and 2) . Hazardous Material Storage/Waste Accumulation Point, Temporary Waste Storage Area / Assessment and Training

Location of the work:  The service shall be performed in Camp Darby Tirrenia (Pisa), Italy.

Performance Period:  The performance period will be as follows:

Base Year:  01 September 2022 – 31 August 2023
Option Year One:  01 September 2023 – 31 August 2024
Option Year Two:  01 September 2024 – 31 August 2025
Option Year Three:  01 September 2025 – 31 August 2026
Option Year Four:  01 September 2026 – 31 August 2027

Method of Contracting: This will be a Request for Quotation (RFQ) resulting in a Firm-Fixed Price type contract.  

Issuance of solicitation: The solicitation will be issued after 16 June 2022

Response date:  The date will be determined when the solicitation has issued.

Site visit/ pre-quote conference:  No site visit or pre-quote conference will be held.
