Description

NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support (NAVSUP WSS) Philadelphia is seeking eligible contractors to furnish effort including labor, material, and facilities as may be required to repair the item as specified within this document. The Government intends to solicit with approved sources only under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. Government intends to solicit for the repair of: NSN 7RH 1680 015733408, P/N: 541674-4, ACTUATOR,ELECTRO-ME, Qty. 28, under the P8 Aircraft. The Government does not possess (or cannot provide) the data necessary to perform the required repairs or manufacture of the item. This requirement can only be procured from suppliers who provide FAA-Certified parts which possess a FAA Authorized Release Certificate, FAA Form 8130-3 Airworthy Approval Tag. All responsible sources may identify their interest and provide capability statements in response to this notice. All proposals received within 3 days after date of publication of this sources sought notice will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. All items shall be delivered with an authorized Release Certificate, FAA Form 8130-3, Airworthiness Approval Tag (reference FAA Order 8130.21G) or with acceptable FAA identifications for replacement articles described in reference FAA AC 20-62. WSS will not make any exceptions to this requirement. The time required for approval of a new source is normally such that an award cannot be delayed pending approval of a new source. If you are not an approved source, you must submit together with your proposal the information detailed in the NAVSUP-WSS Source Approval Information Brochure for manufacturing.
