Description

The Fleet Readiness Center Procurement Group Patuxent River, MD 20650 hereby gives notice of their intent to award a sole source purchase order to PTC Inc., CAGE 0K0D7, 121 Seaport BLVD Boston, Massachusetts 02210-2050, United States, using FAR Part 12 and FAR Part 13 procedures under FAR 13.106-1(b).

The MH60RS software support stand-up Mission Software Fleet Support Team (MSFST) has been tasked to procure and maintain software.  The software is currently being used by the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), Lockheed Martin.  PTC Apex Ada v5.0 for Solaris/SPARC is currently being used for the older and newer releases of the MH60RS software.  The Apex Ada V5.0 needs to be procured with a 1 year annual software license.  PTC Inc. is the current data rights holder to the Apex ADA software.  For this reason, the government intends to procure these services on a sole source basis from PTC Inc., CAGE 0K0D7, 121 Seaport BLVD Boston, Massachusetts 02210-2050, United States.

THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. However, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, which, if received within three (2) calendar days after the date of the publication of this synopsis, will be considered.   Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.  A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based upon responses received as a result of this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
