Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.303. The DOJ will conduct this acquisition using FAR Subpart 13.5 and 12.  The Office of Foreign Litigation (OFL), Civil Division, U.S. Department of Justice in Washington, DC, represents the interests of the United States in foreign courts. This contract is a vehicle that foreign countries may use, at their sole discretion, to request service of legal documents pursuant to these established conventions or through diplomatic channels.  All services shall be performed at no cost to the U.S. Government. 

This contract establishes the cost, performance requirements, terms and conditions for service of judicial and extrajudicial documents pursuant to the Hague Convention on the Service Abroad of Judicial and Extrajudicial Documents in Civil or Commercial Matters (Hague Service Convention), the Additional Protocol to the Inter-American Convention on Letters Rogatory (Inter-American Convention), and letters rogatory from non-convention countries received through diplomatic channels.
