Notice of Intent to Sole Source: 35Mbps Internet Service

THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT AND IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES.  The U.S. Embassy Mbabane intends to award a sole source to Real Image Pty Ltd.  The proposed contract action is for Sole Source Firmed-Fixed Price contract for provision of 35Mbps internet service. The period of performance of this requirement is expected not to exceed 12 months.

The authority for this action is the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.106-1(b) which states. "For purchases not exceeding the simplified acquisition threshold. (i) Contracting officers may solicit from one source if the contracting officer determines that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available.

No solicitation or RFQ will be forthcoming. Interested parties may identify their interest and submit capability statements no later than 1200 hours (local time), September 4, 2023. Capability statements shall be submitted by e-mail ONLY as a Microsoft Word or Adobe PDF attachment to the following address: mbabaneprocurement@state.gov. The email subject line shall state, 19WZ6023Q00009, 35Mbps Internet Service. Information received will be considered for being added in a mailing list of future similar projects. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract is entirely at the discretion of the Government. NO TELEPHONE REQUESTS/OFFERS WILL BE HONORED.
