Description
NIWC Pacific has a requirement for the purchase of specialized code to implement a Vita-49 interface from Geon Tech, LLC. This contract builds upon a prior contract with Geon. The prior contract implemented the Vita-49 specification according to the navy vita ICD leveraging Geon intellectual property that was licensed by NIWC as a springboard. This contract addresses an emerging requirement for precise timing that was not apparent in the Navy Vita ICD.
The government plans to award a sole source FFP purchase order to Geon Tech, LLC for the continuation of support services. Please see attached JNCP for details.
