Steris Maintenance Fort Gregg-Adams, VA

Notice of Intent for Sole Source.   The Medical Readiness Contracting Office (MRCO) – East, intends to issue an award solely to STERIS Corporation, 5960 Heisley  Road, Mentor OH 44060.  The procurement is for Maintenance on Government owned STERIS sterilizers and washers for Dental Clinics to include unlimited parts, labor, travel and preventive maintenance.  The NAICS code of this procurement is 811210 and the size standard is $34 million. This procurement is to support the Kenner Army Health Clinic, Fort Gregg-Adams, VA.   The STERIS sterilizers and washers are  equipment produced and supplied solely by STERIS Corporation. There are no resellers. The Government intends to negotiate with only one source under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.501(a)(1)(ii), sole source (including brand name) under the authority of simplified procedures for certain commercial items. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. Please see the attached Sole Source Determination. Responses are due no later than 3 May 2024 at 03:00 PM EST.
