Customized Trailer Generator

The 186th ARW Contracting Office Intends to award a single source contract. 

The 186th Security Forces Squadron (SFS) located at Key Field AFB MS requires a Custom Trailer Generator to be installed, that Becker Trailers LLC has uniformly provided to support the Air National Guard Domestic Operation / Less than Lethal ( LTL) Trailer fleet.   The Generator and Trailer Modification to the Security Forces DOMOPS Less Than Lethal (LTL) trailers by incorporating a commercial grade 5,500 watt on-board generator package, 20-gallon fuel tank and custom tongue mounted aluminum generator compartment.

This custom generator will provide power to the LTL Trailer during all hours of operations. The Becker Trailers Generator has the ability to provide 5,500 Watts to support or 6K power requirement. Each unit will be mounted to the trailer as a permanent solution. Each generator is CARB and EPA approved allowing us to operate in different states based on local restrictions and laws. The trailers are mounted with NPS generators which utilize inverter technology allowing better protection to sensitive equipment.

Becker Custom Trailers has performed all necessary testing to ensure easy of install as well as ensuring the equipment has an internal air transport certification. It’s imperative that the modification to the trailers are as seemlest as possible that allows for little to no customization or retrofitting process to ensure compatibility assurance, but also for ease of management, training, and redundancy purposes.  Using any other source than Becker Trailers LLC will increase cost to the taxpayer cause mission delay due to increased training needs and potential troubleshooting due to incompatibility issues requiring more custom fabrication.
