This procurement is a full and open competition. NAICS Code: 237990, Other Heavy and Civil Construction. This solicitation, W912P822R0006, is anticipated to be issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP). The resulting contract shall be firm fixed price (FFP).

The solicitation will be issued on or about 15 January 2022. The anticipated proposal due date is set for 15 February 2022; however, the actual due date for receipt of proposals will be determined upon the solicitation advertisement date.

The proposed work consists of clearing and grubbing; structural excavation; temporary retaining structure; placement of steel sheet piling, H-piling, and pipe piling; construction of 380 feet of new floodwall; construction of a new sector gate structure; placement of
geotextile; excavation and levee embankment placement; miscellaneous metal work, painting, scour protection, turf establishment; and other related incidental work.

The estimated magnitude is between $25,000,000.00 and $100,000,000.00.
