Description

************THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE TO THE SUCCESSFUL NMACC III POOL 1 OFFERORS ONLY.************

Design-Build services to perform major renovations of Building #3, the Rescue Swimmer Training Facility (RSTF), at CG Base Elizabeth City in Elizabeth City, NC. The Contractor shall obtain the services of an Architecture/Engineering firm licensed in the State of North Carolina to provide design services for the project. The design shall be in conformance with applicable regulations, codes, and regulatory requirements. Upon Coast Guard acceptance of the Contractor’s 65% design, the Contractor shall construct the accepted design solution. The intent of the project is to demolish and remove the Rescue Swimmer Pool and Pool Room, protect the West, North and East pre-cast walls, and features to remain, construct a new corridor and exterior walls along the perimeter of the former pool area, fully reconstitute the building envelope, and restore all remaining facility functions and systems.
