Sheppard AFB Washer Dryer Lease and Maintenance

06 June  2022 - Updated information - Arrive at the vistor center  no later than 830am on the morning of the site visit  09 June 2022 to be signed onto Sheppard AFB. 

To gain entrance into Sheppard AFB for the site visit schduled for 9 June 2022 starting at 9am CDT.  individuals not affiliated with the installation wiil need to obtain a visitor pass prior to entrance. The vistor center is located on Missile Gate, State Route 240 Building #1405 Sheppard Air Force Base, TX, 76311.  As of September 15, 2016 Sheppard Air Force Base no longer accepts the following state issued driver licenses or state issued IDs that do not meet the Real ID Act of 2005 standards for unescorted access purposes. The states that do not meet these standards are Maine, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, and Washington. Enhanced DL/IDs from Minnesota+ and Washington+ are accepted forms of identification. In order to be issued a pass or given unescorted access to Sheppard, person(s) requesting access with one of the listed state DLs or IDs will also need to present, along with the non-compliant DL/ID, one of the documents below to prove identity: U.S. Passport or U.S. Passport Card, ID Card issued by Federal, State or Local government agencies – provided it contains a photograph and biometric information such as name, date of birth, gender, height, eye color, and address, Personal Identification Verification or Federally-Issued PIV-1 Cards issued by the federal government or non-federal government entities

******Site Visit****** Offerors are cautioned that Sheppard AFB, TX has visitor control procedures requiring individuals not affiliated with the installation to obtain a visitor pass prior to entrance. Offerors should allow sufficient time to obtain a visitor pass to be able to gain entry. An organized site visit has been scheduled for Thursday, 9 June 0900 CDT. Interested participants must send an email to Shyvonne Yarbrough at shyvonne.yarbrough@us.af.mil and Young Kim at young.kim.28@us.af.mil in order to be added to the list. Participants will meet at— 206 J Ave. Bldg. 1662 Sheppard AFB, TX 76311-2742. Questions resulting from site visit or any part of the solicitation are welcome until Tuesday 14 June, 2022 at 1400 CDT. Answers will be posted altogether via the sam.gov where this solicitation is posted.

If you are planning to attend the site visit but do not already have access to Sheppard AFB you must provided your name as stated on your driver's license, your date of birth, your driver's license #, and state of issuance no later than 3 June 2022. 

This acquisition is for Washers and Dryers Leasing, Cleaning, Maintenance, Repair, and Dryer Exhaust Vent Cleaning Services at Sheppard AFB Washer. The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, certification, materials, supervision and all other items or services necessary for washer and dryer leasing, cleaning, maintenance, repair and dryer exhaust vent/duct cleaning service defined in this Performance Work Statement (PWS) at various locations on Sheppard Air Force Base (SAFB) located in Wichita Falls, Texas. Contractor shall be responsible for the delivery, installation, connections/hook up, cleaning, maintenance, repair, removal and relocation as well as certified dryer exhaust cleaning on contractor furnished washers and dryers in accordance with Atch 10, Washer/Dryer Requirement by Building and Type and Atch 9, Existing Laundry Room Floor Plans. The contractor shall perform all services in accordance with manufacturer’s recommended commercial practices and this PWS. The contractor shall have a full working knowledge of industry standards and codes for washers, dryers, and exhaust systems.
