Description
This is a market survey for informational and planning purposes only. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION AND DOES NOT OBLIGATE THE GOVERNMENT TO ISSUE A SOLICITATION. This announcement constitutes an official Request for Information (RFI) as defined by FAR 15.201(e).
This is a sources sought notice (not a pre-solicitation notice pursuant to FAR Part 5) to determine the capability and availability of sources experienced with annual inspections and load testing on Marine Corps Recruit Depot Parris Island, SC (MCRDPI). The FEAD Parris Island, South Carolina is seeking qualified companies to provide services for annual inspections and load testing services on Rappel Tower, Fast Rope Stations, Side Handrails and various weight handling equipment and one (1) fall restraint system for the MCRDPI, South Carolina. The Contractor shall provide all necessary resources, management, personnel, materials, transportation, supplies, and equipment, except Government Furnished Property (GFP), necessary to provide services. Services are described in the attached Statement of Objectives (SOO).
The work will be accomplished under a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Contract. The contract term will be a base period of one (1) year plus four (4) option periods. Estimated contract start date is 31 March 2025. Only the base period of the contract will offer a minimum guarantee. If the Government does not award a follow-on contract on time, the Government may require the Contractor to continue performance for an additional period up to six (6) months under the Option-to-Extend Services clause.
Sources sought include small business, veteran-owned small business, service-disabled small business, HUBZone small business, small disadvantaged business, and women-owned small business concerns. The NAICS code is 541350, Building Inspection Services. The Small Business Size Standard is $11.5 million.
Interested vendors should at a minimum, fill out and submit the attached Sources Sought Information Request Form, inclusive of the following information: Company name, address, point of contact, phone number, email address, business size, and disadvantaged, 8(a) or HUBZone status. Vendors are also invited to provide the following information, paying particular attention to address: contracts of similar scope and size, references, and record of past performance. All responsible interested sources are encouraged to submit their capabilities in regard to the above no later than 9 AM EST on 27 June 2024. All information is to be submitted at no cost or obligation to the Government.
