SEA ATCT and S46 TRACON Major Mechanical Upgrades

Seattle TRACON (S46) and Seattle ATCT (SEA) Major Mechanical Upgrades. The scope of work includes, but is not limited to, replacement of chillers, boilers, and cooling towers  as detailed in plans and specifications.

AMENDMENT 03:

Purpose of Amendment 03 is to provide further clarification to a question found within the Q&A, remove one of the requirements found within the specifications, and extend the proposal due date as outlined below:

FIRST: A clarification was received based on question #9 found on the "Q&A" that was previously released and it stated the following:

QUESTION: It appears that abatement needs to take place for this project, but I don’t have any way to know where it is at or how much there is. I don’t see an abatement report for either building and have only found reports to fill out for the superintendent during the project. Is it possible to get an abatement report that will indicate where and how much abatement work there will be in this project (for each building)?

FAA RESPONSE: The FAA can provide the reports. We are not requiring abatement if work is not being performed in that area. This answer was to provide awareness of where there is concern in case the Contractor needs to do work in those areas. Attachment J-2_Specifications_Seattle TRACON (S46) is hereby updated to reflect the redaction/removal of 1.12 INDEPENDENT QUALITY CONTROL ORGANIZATION (CQC) found on pages 186-187.

Attachment J-3_Specification_Seattle ATCT is hereby updated to reflect the redaction/removal of 1.12 INDEPENDENT QUALITY CONTROL ORGANIZATION (CQC) found on pages 182-183.
