Description
This announcement constitutes a Sources Sought Synopsis and Request for Information (RFI) to
afford industry an opportunity to provide information regarding their capabilities to provide
commercial services.
This is not a Request for Quotation (RFQ) or an Invitation for Bid (IFB), nor is it to be construed
as a commitment by the U.S. Government to form a binding contract. Parties that respond will
not be paid for the information submitted.
The Air Force is reaching out to respected experts in the medical field to seek valuable insights
and recommendations. The Air Force is currently assessing medical service input and potential
solutions for an isolated location, and we believe your expertise and industry knowledge can
provide invaluable guidance in this regard.
1. Recommend a solution where at a minimum, without failure, there would be at least one
Emergency Medical Technician and one Paramedic scheduled every single day.
2. Key considerations for Medical Services delivery in isolated locations.
3. Recommended healthcare approaches for isolated settings.
4. Any specific challenges or opportunity’s you foresee in our situation.

The Air Force Rocket Lab (AFRL) at Edwards AFB, CA is in the process of determining the
acquisition strategy to obtain information from potential eligible and interested contractors for
the acquisition of Full Time Equivalent (FTE) Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) and FTE
Paramedics services. Your input will play a crucial role in shaping our understanding of the
medical landscape in isolated areas and inform our decision-making process. We are open to any
suggestions, ideas, or references you may have that could contribute to our exploration of
potential solutions.
