Sources Sought

TITLE III MONITORING, GENERAL TRANSLATION AND TRANSCRIPTION (T&T) SERVICES

SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE: 

This is not a solicitation announcement.  This is a sources sought synopsis only.  The purpose of this synopsis is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources and their Socio-economic status (Hubzone, 8(a), small, small disadvantage, service-disabled veteran owned small business, etc.) relative to NAICS 541930, Translation and Interpretation Services (size standard of $22.5 Million). Responses to this synopsis will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions.  After review of the responses to this sources sought synopsis, a solicitation announcement may be published via SAM, GSA, or via a Strategically Sourced Vehicle if appropriate.  Responses to this sources sought synopsis are not considered adequate responses to the solicitation announcement.  All interested offerors will have to respond to the solicitation announcement to be considered for award sought.  No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this synopsis or any follow up information requests.

The Department of Homeland Security is seeking potential Contractors capable of performing all functions within the “Draft” Performance Work Statement for Title III Monitoring, General Translation and Transcription Services.  Performance will take place throughout an estimated five-year period.

ESTIMATED ANNUAL AMOUNT: $20M

Contractors with the expertise to successfully perform the requirements outlined in the “Draft” Statement of Work attached are encouraged to submit a capability statement.

This notice is to assist with determining sources only.   A solicitation is not currently available.   If a solicitation is issued it will be announced at a later date, and all interested parties must respond to that solicitation announcement separately from the responses to this announcement.  A response to this sources sought is not a request to be added to a prospective bidders list or to receive a copy of the solicitation.
