Description

The Indefinite-Delivery, Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) contract is for the procurement of a maximum quantity of 21 units, which includes the First Article Test Unit, to be ordered within the five year ordering period. These items shall serve as a replacement of an existing generator end of a steam turbine based application as specified in the Mechanical interface specification reference for the LHD ship class. The Generator shall comply with the ABS NVR as pertaining to MIL-G-3087C and the requirements of this specification. The new generator, in conjunction with the existing Steam Turbine, shall be able to provide 2500 kW (electrical) at 450 VAC, 60 Hz, 0.8 power factor, when operating continuously.
