Description
The Department of the Interior, Bureau of Reclamation, Lower Colorado Dams Office, Davis Dam and Parker Dam have a requirement for emergency generator inspection, service, and repairs for a 5 year period. Attached is a DRAFT Performance Work Statement (PWS). The government is seeking responsible sources having capabilities to perform the services.
This acquisition when announced, will be issued under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 81130, Commercial and Industrial Machinery and Equipment (except Automotive and Electronic) Repair and Maintenance with a Small Business Size Standard of $12.5 million.
Capability statements are to be submitted no later than July 10, 2023. All responses to this sources sought notice shall be submitted to Ms. Larissa Bell, via e-mail to lrbell@usbr.gov.
If your organization has the potential capabilities to provide these services, please provide a capabilities package that includes the following information:
1. Provide business name, UEI number, address, point of contact to include e-mail address, telephone number and website if applicable;
2. Business size and type (8(a), HUBZone, Service Disabled Veteran, Small Business, Large Business, etc.);
3. Demonstrate the firm's experience by providing a list of projects completed where similar work was performed in the past three years, and in which your firm performed the work. Include in the list only work comparable to the size for which your firm was entirely responsible for providing personnel. Additionally, for each project listed, provide the following: a brief description of the work performed, project title, dollar value of the job, location, and the customer's contact name and phone number for the work completed.
4. What NAICS code does your company use for these types of services?
5. Are these services performed under Firm Fixed Price or Time and Materials?
After review of the responses to this sources sought announcement, and if the Lower Colorado Dams Office still plans to proceed with this acquisition, a formal Request for Quote will be issued via Contract Opportunities web site at https://sam.gov/content/opportunities . All interested parties will have to respond to the RFQ in addition to responding to this sources sought synopsis. Responses to this sources sought synopsis are NOT a request to be added to a prospective offerors list or to receive a copy of the RFQ.
