Description
The United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Engineering Research and Development Center – Construction Engineering Research Laboratory (ERDC-CERL) in Champaign, Illinois has a requirement to purchase a Bluetooth Metering Modules for Deployable Metering and Monitoring System (DMMS) boxes that is compatible with current program of record equipment. ERDC-CERL intends to award a purchase order on a sole source basis to Pacific Transformer, 5399 E. Hunter Ave, Anaheim, CA in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b)(1).
Market research indicates that Pacific Transformer is the only source for this requirement because Pacific Transformer is the only company that has the ability to provide a capability to define, monitor and analyze the efficiency problems associated with operational energy with a wireless solution. This company has extensive experience and a US patent in the field of Bluetooth Power Metering, and this makes them uniquely qualified to produce the metering modules required and utilize the lessons learned from and add to the current Deployable Metering and Monitoring System (DMMS).
This is not a small business set aside.
