FLIGHT CONTROL ELECTRONIC (FCE) RING SUPPORTS VARIANCE AND CONVERSION TO FOR HARPOON BLOCK II+ (HII+) TACTICAL MISSILE CAPTIVE AIR TRAINING MISSILES (CATMS) AND HII+ TACTICAL MISSILE PRODUCTION

The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR), Precision Strike Weapons Program Office (PMA-201), awarded a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) modification under Delivery Order (DO) N0001920F0402 of Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) N00019-16-G-0001 on a sole source basis to The Boeing Company, 6200 JS McDonnell Blvd, St. Louis, MO 63134-1939.  This DO modification will provide for the conversion of existing Government furnished Block 1C FCE rings to the Block II+ standard in the form of Minor Variance D1094. 

This acquisition was awarded on a sole source basis under the statutory authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c)(1) as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other services will satisfy agency requirements. 

The Boeing Company is the sole designer, developer, manufacturer and integrator of the HII+ Tactical Missiles and its related equipment.  The Boeing Company alone has the experience, special skills, proprietary technical documentation, software/algorithms, facilities, and manufacturing techniques to furnish the supplies and services within the required timeframe.  Accordingly, The Boeing Company is the only known qualified, responsible source that can meet the Government’s requirement.
