GRAYWOLF INDUSTRIAL HYGIENE EQUIPMENT CALIBRATION SERVICE

NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE FOR INDUSTRIAL HYGIENE EQUIPMENT CALIBRATION SERVICE

This is a NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT using Federal Acquisition Regulation FAR 13.106-1(b) (1). The US Army Contracting Command - Aberdeen Proving Ground (ACC-APG) Tenant Division, 6001 Combat Drive, Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD 21005-1846; has a requirement to procure the following service:

The Army Public Health Center (APHC) is requesting a calibration and repair contract for annual calibration and repair as needed, of GrayWolf manufactured industrial hygiene equipment. This contract will include one annual manufacturer calibration per piece of equipment, one new ozone sensor per year per piece of equipment at time of calibration, and new sensors as required if below 80% functionality at time of calibration.

The Government intends to award a Firm-Fixed Price sole source contract (a 12-month base period plus four (4) one year option period) to GrayWolf Sensing Solutions, LLC.,  6 Research Dr. STE 110 Shelton, CT 06484-6228. GrayWolf is the previous contract holder and due to the continued need for the mission essential routine preventive maintenance, calibration, and repair of equipment necessary to adequately continue performance, these services have been deemed critical.

The associated North America Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 811219 (Other Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance) and the Business Size Standard is $22M.

All responses received within five (5) days after date of publication of this notice will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed purchase order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.

Interested persons may identify their interest and capability by responding to the requirement no later than 10:00 AM Eastern Standard Time (EST), 08 August 2022.
