Leith Creek Channel Repair

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Wilmington District requires a contract to provide Leith Creek Channel Repair, Sampson County, North Carolina, number W912PM22B0009.

Description of Work:

The project consists of cutting and removal approximately 52 large trees from the channel and banks (leaning and falling); replacing three small, damaged storm drain culverts; excavating and placement of rip rap for outlet protection at seven (7) storm drain pipe outlets; clearing sediment and debris from within channel (~400 CY of Sediment); grading and placement of rip rap for bank stabilization (approx. 100 feet of bank).

This solicitation is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. The contract issued will be Firm Fixed Price. The Magnitude of Construction of this project is between $500,000 and $1,000,000.  This solicitation will be issued in electronic format only and will be available on or about April 01, 2022.  The bid opening date will be specified in the solicitation when it is issued. No additional media (CD-ROM, floppy disks, facsimiles, etc) will be provided.   Paper copies of this solicitation will not be available. Other methods of requesting a package will not be honored.  The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 237990 – Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction and the size standard is $39,500,000.00.
