Description

The Biological Technologies Office (BTO) of the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) is hosting a virtual Proposers Day for the potential proposer community in support of a planned Broad Agency Announcement (BAA) for the Tellus Program. The Proposers Day will be held on April 27, 2023, from 10:30 AM to 3:35 PM (EDT). Advance registration is required. Note: all times listed in this announcement and on the registration website are Eastern Daylight Time.

The Proposers Day goals include:
1.    Introducing the Tellus program vision and goals to the research community;
2.    Explaining the mechanics of a DARPA program in general and the objectives and milestones of this program in particular;
3.    Increasing efficiency in proposal preparation and evaluation;
4.    Encouraging and promote teaming arrangements among organizations that have the relevant expertise, research facilities, and capabilities for executing research and development responsive to Tellus program goals.

The purpose of Amendment 1 to DARPA-SN-23-41, the Tellus Proposers Day, is to change the registration deadline, lightning talk submission deadline, and event date – the remainder of the document, specifically the program overview, remains unchanged.
