Description

The Department of the Interior (DOI), Bureau of Indian Education (BIE), Division of Acquisitions is issuing a Pre-solicitation Notice announcement to seek potential Indian Small Business Economic Enterprises (ISBEE) sources who would be interested in providing a for Design-build services to convert room 118 in Parker Hall into a Lecture Hall in Parker Hall building (Blg.112) and an option bid item to provide and install a fire alarm system for the building at the Bureau of Indian Education BIE – Haskell Indian Nations University (HINU), Lawrence, Kansas.

This notice is to identify businesses that fall into the following available set aside categories, Indian Small Business Economic Enterprises (ISBEE). The North American Industry Classification (NAICS) code is 238220 and the small business size standard $16.50.

No reimbursement will be made for any cost associated with this Pre-solicitation announcement. Any information submitted by respondents to this notice is strictly voluntary. It is requested that only those that meet the definition of these categories submit a response to this notice. Send your capabilities statement to include your UEI #, description of your specialties, contact information (business name, contact person, phone number and email address), bonding capabilities.

The contract scope of work consists of the following discipline of the Contractor shall provide all services required including, but not limited to, design, selective demolition, roofing, general construction, and supervision to accomplish the tasks in accordance with this statement of work, contract terms, conditions, specifications, and any special requirements. Follow NFPA 5000 and all applicable codes for architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, and other codes as determined by BIA /BIE. A more detailed statement of work will be provided with solicitation package to all eligible vendors.

Interest parties are requested to provide their UEI number for verification of inclusion in the System for Award Management (SAM). Complete the form attached. Any interest and qualified sources are requested to provide a brief capabilities statement and letter of interest to Mary Jane Johnson vie email maryjane.johnson@bie.edu. To be considered in the research, please provide the information above no later than 12:00 P.M. on September 20, 2023, Mountain Daylight Time (MD).
