Description
This procurement will result in one Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract for multi-discipline Architect-Engineer (A-E) services. Services include, but are not limited to International Building Code (IBC), Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC) 1-201-01 Non-Permanent DoD Facilities in Support of Military Operations, and Host-Nation Construction Codes’ compliant design and engineering services for the preparation of preliminary and final construction plans and specifications, cost estimates, project engineering documentation including DD1391s and parametric cost estimate documentation, technical reports including engineering and investigations and concept studies, construction cost estimates, operations and maintenance manuals, design reviews, construction consultation, geotechnical investigations, utility site surveys, Post-Construction Award Services (PCAS), and topographic surveys as required for multi-discipline architectural-engineering projects. Projects may encompass a diverse range of activities, including but not limited to, the construction of new buildings, alterations, and repairs of existing structures.
While these projects are predominantly focused on tropical, high-humidity marine environments similar to those found in countries like Thailand, the Philippines, Vietnam, Indonesia, Malaysia, Palau, and various Pacific Islands such as the Federated States of Micronesia (FSM), the Republic of Palau, Papua New Guinea, Timor-Leste, Fiji and Maldives, they also extend to include regions with different climatic conditions, such as Nepal. All of which are considered within the Resident Office in Charge of Construction (ROICC) Site Thailand’s Area of Responsibility (AOR).
