Description

An oral request for quotations will be solicited for the following item as a small purchase:

EZ-UP SHELTER NSN: 8340-01-509-3622. Quantity of 200 ea., and one delivery is required at VSTJ Pendergrass, GA beginning 120 days after award. This acquisition will be solicited as a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business set aside. RFQ document can be obtained by contacting Turkessa Cook-Muhammad by e-mail Turkessa.cook@dla.mil, or by calling at 215-737-7588. This document will be available until February 12, 2025. Oral quotations will be requested at the same time of this announcement. The closing date for oral quotations is February 12, 2025.

The Defense Appropriations and Authorization Acts and other statutes (including what is commonly referred to as “The Berry Amendment”) impose restrictions on the DOD’s acquisition of foreign products and services. Generally, Clothing and Textile items (as defined in 252.225-7014), including the materials and components thereof (other than sensors, electronics, or other items added to, and not normally associated with clothing), must be grown, reprocessed, reused, melted or produced in the United States, its possessions or Puerto Rico, unless one of the DFARS 225.7002-2 exceptions applies.
